LR-108 is a rutile titanium dioxide produced by sulfuric acid process and inorganic surface treatment of alumina. It is specially designed for masterbatch and polymer applications.
LR-108 is easily dispersed in polyolefin, which has little influence on melt flow index. Therefore, even Masterbatch with high concentration of TiO2 can produce thin films with high hiding power and high whiteness.
LR-108 is recommended for plastic applications that require high thermal stability. Its surface design is hydrophobic and can prevent pigments from absorbing water in the air.
